While the Motocompacto probably won’t become your sole source of transportation, it’s a great way to avoid traffic gridlock, get to and from the bus stop, or zip across campus to make your next class on time. It can travel up to 15 mph and has two driving modes to ensure your personal safety in crowded settings. It’s equipped with a peppy motor that allows it to accelerate from zero to 15 mph in about 7 seconds.
The Motocompacto can travel up to 12 miles on a single charge. When the battery depletes, you can plug it into a standard 110-volt outlet to fully charge the scooter in about three and a half hours.
With a weight of about 41 pounds, the Motocompacto is easy to carry with you to work or class. It’s intended for riders 14 or older, with a maximum 265-pound weight capacity. To give you a better idea of its size, here are the other dimensions of the Motocompacto:
